Glass Fusing - Spring Decorative Class

Who is this course for?

Level 1 and above - This 1.5 hour class is suitable for all levels.

What does the course cover?

During our Spring themed class, Karen will teach you the technique of creating Decorative Glass using specialist glass, creating your own designs in preparation for it to be fired in our kiln. Beginning by deciding on your own design you will be guided through the process of creating your design using glass.  Your piece will then be fired in our kiln and ready for collection the following week.  This class is perfect for beginners and also for those who have already completed a Frit/fusing class and would like to explore further.

What is included in the fee?

Your fee includes tuition by Karen, the use of tools and equipment and all materials. 

Each student can make up to two pieces using clear glass as the base and adding colours of your choice. Please note that the colours available will be 'spring' themed. (Glass supplied 20x20)

Please come with ideas! Images on your phone or printed in preparation will help you on the day and Karen will guide you on how to create these in glass.

There is a maximum of 6 students per class to ensure individual attention. 

Please note your pieces are fired in our kiln and will be ready for collection the following week.

We will try to make our classes accessible to all however if you have any disabilities or physical limitations of any kind we ask that you discuss it with us before booking

What do I need to bring?

• Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and old clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged.
• Please ensure long hair is tied back. 
• All drink containers/bottles must have lids. Students to provide their own refreshments.
• No Food can be consumed during the class

All our classes are for age 16 and over, unless otherwise specified.

Course terms and conditions:

Cancellation and Attendance Policy;

• In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued or the student may request a date transfer if available.
• Cancellations by the student over 28 days of the class date – we will offer a full refund or date transfer if available at the discretion of the student.
• Cancellations by the student within 28 days of the class date – we are unable to offer a refund or date change.  Please see following information:
• If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.
• Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
• Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Payment of your reservation deems that you accept these terms and conditions.
