Fused Glass Mosaic Tile

Who is this course for?

This short course is suitable for all levels.

Two sessions 6pm to 9pm

What does the course cover?

Your tutor will teach you the technique of creating a Decorative Fused Glass Mosaic Tile, using specialist glass, creating your own designs in preparation for them to be fired in our kiln.

Following your own design ideas, we will inspire you to create your bespoke piece.  Your piece will then be fired in our kiln and ready for collection at a date to be agreed during the class.

What is included in the fee?

Your fee includes tuition, the use of tools and equipment and all materials. 

Each student will make one tile 15cmx15cm of your own design.

The tile will be a white glass on clear.  This acts as a base and will be pre fired. Please note there will be no base colour options.

You will start by drawing your own design, we will also offer templates if preferred.  Once the design is prepared you will then cut the glass to shape and size and prepare the tile for firing.

There is a maximum of 8 students per class to ensure individual attention. 

Please note your pieces are taken away to be fired and will be ready for collection at a date to be agreed during the class. 

What do I need to bring?

• Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged. 
• Please ensure long hair is tied back. 
• You may bring your own drinks. All drink containers/bottles must have lids.

No food can be consumed within the classroom

All our classes are for age 16 and over, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation and Attendance Policy;

• In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued or the student may request a date transfer if available.
• Cancellations by the student over 28 days of the class date – we will offer a full refund or date transfer if available at the discretion of the student.
• Cancellations by the student within 28 days of the class date – we are unable to offer a refund or date change.  Please see following information:
• If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.
• Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
• Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
